On the way to Baltimore we stopped for a night in Beacon, NY on the Hudson. This town was quirky, fun and historical. Apparently it has had a revival from a low point. We found a store that sold only marshmallows!
And another store for robots.
There were several parks on the riverfront. This one had an open drumming session,
We stayed at a B&B. The hallway and stairwell were covered floor-to-ceiling with paintings.
The grounds were also fun.
After our stop in Beacon we headed to Baltimore and had a nice visit with the Atwoods/Slovicks. The weather was perfect for a walk in Patterson Park.
And a walk on another day along the harbor. Some of us dressed up.
Oscar absolutely loves his Grandpa Paul. You can't see in the pictures but whenever he saw Paul he broke out into a big grin.
