We'd heard there is a nature walk near the Patriot Place Mall and the New England Patriot's Football Stadium so we decided to check it out.
The trail is very nice, and on this day, well-used. We encountered four other pairs of folks enjoying the trail. Here is the beginning with a carved bench. We saw lots of birds, including waterfowl and turtles. One large snapper moved slowly along a stream under the bridge we were standing on and toward the pond, but was blocked by a log and didn't move for some time. We could see a way through, so she should be able to make it eventually.
This cranberry bog on the trail route is a working farm.
After enjoying the nature walk, we entered the Bass Pro Shop store, looked at stuff for sale and indoor fishing area, then had lunch in the pub. Finally we tried out the large fishing boats. No way.
