3/25/19
We took a trip to Amherst to see Charlie and Judy. Charlie is feeling much better after some surgery. The day was spent catching up on recent family events, reminiscing about days gone by and making plans. We also shared meals, wine and beer.
I didn't take any photos but here is a picture of their house from a visit last year. If I turned 180 degrees I would see a beautiful field with a mountain in the background.

193. Winter Fire
3/17/19
It's a bit late for a winter event, but the Medway Trail Club got a large turnout for Winter Fire this year. Besides the bonfire, there were children's activities, a scavenger hunt, drinks and snacks and a couple of demos including Paul showing how maple syrup is made.

192. Worcester Art Museum
Week 192 3/15/19
Worcester Art Museum
This museum is always worth a trip. This visit our time was limited due to a misunderstanding of museum hours. We saw mostly the special exhibits including a beautiful display of glass with several Tiffany pieces.
Our favorite exhibit was a comparison of many Monet canvases of Waterloo Bridge. As it turns out, we had seen several of these before at the Wellesley Davis Museum, The Rochester art museum, the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Denver Art Musuem.
This was Paul's favorite painting at the museum today:
And some fun furniture.
And we particularly enjoyed a large exhibit of Japanese prints called Travels with Hiroshige but we were hustled out of the museum at closing time and didn't get a chance to take a photo. Here is a stolen screenshot from the museum website.
